I admit it! I'm old enough that this availability of so much of our lives on-line makes me a bit uncomfortable, but young enough to still find it pretty cool too. Somehow, some way, this new world suites my contradictory nature of being a people-loving loner.
So if I did it correctly, this blog will now automatically feed into my Facebook posts. However, I will not admit to how long or how many google, facebook & blogger searches it took for me to figure it out. Something those younger than me could've done in a fraction of the time! Nonetheless, mission accomplished and I'll blame some of the time it took on the lousy sinus headache I've had for days now.
One thing that did happen easily is that I have a fitting and pair of running shoes as a raffle item for fundraising. There are the details of it to organize--all of which requires too much brain for me to do today.
Underneath the feeling lousy there is a lot of excitment about being a part of TNT again. I'm also looking forward to participating in at least a few 1/2 marathons and maybe another full through the course of the summer and fall.

Another new experience thanks to TNT!
This Team In Training program has led me into all kinds of new experiences. And now another--my first attempt at blogging! During my last TNT experience I used my fundraising website to provide updates and the various thoughts about the experience. It worked fairly well, but I was limited on space so a blog seemed the next natural step. I'm sure this will be interesting so bear with me as I learn! I truly look forward to sharing my experiences both in blogging & TNT with you.
As for TNT, I'm all signed up for the San Diego Rock 'n Roll Marathon. This will be marathon #6 and event #14 for LLS (the other eight were 1/2 marathons). The date is June 6.
Let the season begin! There's already a fund-raising challenge for which alumnus can raise the most money by January 28th. So I've got lots to do. Website is up, but there are letters to write and fund-raisers to organize! Look for garage sales and raffles to come.
Training begins on February 6th. Not quite sure how I'm going to do it, but nothing worthwhile is ever easy. This will be the second time for me at the SDRnR. It's also the course on which I set my PB, though the course has changed. I'd sure love to beat that if I can train hard enough.
Thanks for your interest and for stopping by. Let me know you've been here!
